Jamie Tsung

Dr. Jamie Tsung is a lead formulation and processing scientist in the biopharmaceutical industry. Recently she worked at Epic Therapeutics/Baxter Healthcare where her research focused on developing self-injectable highly concentrated monoclonal antibody suspensions for rheumatoid arthritis and evaluating biomaterial drying processes for inhalation applications using PROMAXX technology. Prior to this, she worked at UCB and Lavipharm, the largest Belgian and Greek pharmaceutical companies, respectively. Her research at Lavipharm focused on overcoming solubilization issues for water-insoluble compounds and developing innovative drug delivery systems to enhance product development. At UCB, she was involved in line extensions of marketed oral sustained release liquid dosage forms as well as solid dosage forms. Her nine-year of pharmaceutical experience spans preclinical to marketed products, integrating formulation, characterization, processing technology, regulatory, and quality control providing a valuable perspective and creative approach to dosage development of drug molecules in the early and late stages, including oral and parenteral dosage forms. Her education includes a MS and Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Connecticut and a BS in pharmacy from National Taiwan University, Taiwan
