Dr. Cheng-Chi Chuang is currently working at the Schering-Plough Research Institute, Cambridge, MA. His major research interest is centered at the application of Mass Spectrometry to the characterization of the protein-ligand interaction. His most recent publication is in the use of HPLC coupled with time-of-flight Mass Spectrometry to determine the binding affinity and binding site classification for protein-ligand complexes. Dr. Chuang began his pharmaceutical career in 2001 at NeoGenesis, a start-up biotech company located at Cambridge, MA. The NeoGenesis was later acquired by Schering-Plough in 2005. From 1995 to 2000, Dr. Chuang was a postdoctoral research associate working with Prof. William Klemperer at the Department of Chemistry, Harvard University. Dr. Chuang received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and Bachelor in Chemistry from National Sun Yat-Sen University (Taiwan) in 1986.
