
Dr. Cheng-Chi Chuang is currently a Principal Scientist working at the Merck & Co., Cambridge, MA. His major research interest is centered at the characterization of protein-ligand interaction using Mass Spectrometry and photon-based technology. Dr. Chuang began his pharmaceutical career in 2001 at NeoGenesis, a start-up biotech company located at Cambridge, MA. The NeoGenesis was later acquired by Schering-Plough in 2005. From 1995 to 2000, Dr. Chuang was a postdoctoral research associate working with Prof. William Klemperer at the Department of Chemistry, Harvard University. Dr. Chuang received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and Bachelor in Chemistry from National Sun Yat-Sen University (Taiwan) in 1986. Dr. Chuang has served as a board director of Monte Jade New England since 2006, and as the vice chairman in 2008/2009.
